Abstract
Installation of IBM Case Foundation fails on Microsoft Windows if the installation directory (path) contains non-English characters and you choose to install SSAS OLAP Connector as part of the installation.

The IBM Case Foundation installation program prompts you to specify an installation directory. If the name of any component in this directory contains a non-English character and you choose to install the SSAS OLAP Connector component, the installation fails, even though the installation log does not show any errors.
The failure is that the Windows service for the SSAS OLAP Connector cannot be started. To avoid this failure, make sure that you specify an IBM Case Foundation installation directory that contains only English characters if your installation includes the SSAS OLAP Connector.
