Abstract

This presentation shows how to size and account for Java™ memory usage under CICS TS for z/OS. It looks primarily at 31-bit JVMs, but it does provide some information on 64-bit Java. It reviews JVMProfiles, the use of tools such as DFH0STAT, Language Environment (LE) run-time options and what you can discover from a dump.
