Sterling B2B Integrator Authentication Procedure Using isAuthenticated XAPI

To configure a Sterling External Authentication Server user authentication profile:

1. Launch the Sterling External Authentication Server user interface and log in.

2. On the Authentication Definitions window, click +.

3. On the Authentication type combo box, select Generic.

4. Type a profile name.

5. Click the Authenticate using custom exits check box.

6. Press the … button.

7. On the class name field, specify

com.sterlingcommerce.component.authentication.impl.SIUserAuthExit

8. Click the … button for Properties.

9. Refer to the following table to define the required properties:

Property	Description
url	URL to IBM Sterling B2B Integrator InteropHttpservlet. Required. For example, https://<hostaddress>:<port>/ws/interop/InteropHttpServlet
alt.url.1	Alternate URL #1. Optional.
alt.url.2	Alternate URL #2. Optional.
...
alt.url.<n>	Alternate URL #<n>. Optional.
http.auth.user	User ID to connect to InteropHttpServlet. Required.
http.auth.password	Password to connect to InteropHttpServlet. Required.
client.alias	Alias of Sterling External Authentication Server key-certificate used with SSL connection to IBM Sterling B2B Integrator if client authentication is required. Optional.

Important: If the url property uses https, you must import the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator HTTP adapter certificate into the Sterling External Authentication Server trust store. If the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator HTTP adapter requires SSL client authentication, you must import the Sterling External Authentication Server certificate into the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator trust store.

10. Click OK.

11. Click Next to move through the definition pages.

12. Click Save.
