The following requirements are missing from the Detailed System Requirements reports and must be considered before installing the IBM Rational Rhapsody 8 releases.

The following requirements are missing from the system requirements reports and must be considered before installing the IBM Rational Rhapsody 8 releases.

Supported RTOSes not listed in the system requirements report
If you are building applications for one of these environments, you must first rebuild the Rational Rhapsody framework libraries by using the Code > Build Framework menu option.
RTOS support is available only in Rational Rhapsody Developer. If you are using Rational Rhapsody Designer for Systems Engineers, you can only run simulations for the following environments: Cygwin, MSVC9.

INTEGRITY (Green Hills)

    • 5.0.4 - Windows version of Rational Rhapsody - C, C++, Ada
    • 5.0.7 - Linux version of Rational Rhapsody - C and C++ only
Note: If you want to use Green Hills INTEGRITY, contact  Rational Rhapsody Support.

Linux Professional Edition 5.0 (MontaVista)

    • Rational Rhapsody Developer for C and C++ - only available in Linux version of Rational Rhapsody

Workbench 3.2 (VxWorks 6.8, VxWorks653 v2.3), 3.3 (VxWorks 6.9) - C, C++ (Wind River)

Note
: In Linux only, the "debug synchronization" feature does not work with Workbench 3.3. It only works with Workbench 3.2 (VxWorks 6.8).

When using compiler versions other than the ones listed here, you must recompile the OXF libraries.
