Description

Tivoli Storage Manager HSM for Windows client provides Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) for Windows New Technology Files System (NTFS) and Resilient File Systems (ReFS). Individual files and files from parts of the file systems are migrated to remote storage in Tivoli Storage Manager.

What's new in the HSM for Windows 6.4.3 client

The HSM for Windows 6.4.3 client contains APAR fixes (maintenance).

The Tivoli Storage Manager backup-archive client and API must be at the same fix pack level as the HSM for Windows client. The backup-archive client and API must be at the same interim fix level as the HSM for Windows client or at a greater interim fix level. For example, the backup-archive client and API and HSM for Windows client must all be at fix pack level 6.4.3. If the HSM for Windows client is at interim fix level 6.4.3.x, the backup-archive client and API must be at interim fix level 6.4.3.y, where y is equal to or greater than x.
