Unica Software Download Instructions

Abstract

For information about software downloads, use the instructions that apply to the appropriate release. The cross reference table shows the corresponding patches and fix packs for each product.

Content

  • - Full Release access for IBM Unica 8.5 and greater
    • IBM Unica full release software from version 8.5 and higher is available on the IBM DSW Online site. You are required to sign in with your individual IBM web ID user name and password. If you do not have an IBM web ID, you can register for one at the IBM DSW Online site. Once you login, you will need your Site ID number and you will be asked if you are the Primary Contact for your site.

      Note: If you are not registered with the site's Primary Contact, the Primary Contact will be notified to approve your download access. In cases where you are experiencing access or site issues, contact the IBM eCustomer Care team in your region. The eCare team will be your best available resource for your download experience.

  • - Full Release access for Unica pre-8.5
    • If you have a requirement for a pre-8.5 full release product download, for example, for disaster recovery, please e-mail a request to emmsw@us.ibm.com. In your e-mail, please include the following information:

      • Customer name/account where the software will be installed and IBM Customer Number if known.

      • The product name and version needed.

      • The reason for the exception request.

      Allow 3-5 business days for requests to be processed.

  • - Fixes for IBM Unica 8.5 and greater
    • To access fixes for IBM Unica 8.5 and greater, follow the instructions below.

      1. Go to Fix Central, and select Enterprise Marketing Management from the Product Group drop-down list.

      2. Select your Unica Product from the Product drop-down list.

      3. Select fix Version needed.

      4. In the Identify Fixes section, simply select Continue.

      Note: If you have not yet signed on using your IBM ID, you will be required to before you can proceed to download. Users who do not have an individual IBM ID can create one at the Fix Central site.

  • - Fixes for Unica pre-8.5
    • To obtain Unica pre-8.5 fixes, use the following instructions.

      1. Retrieve your patch Access Key from the IBM Support Portal Downloads site. Access keys and instructions on how to access a pre-8.5 fix are on each individual fix page.

      2. Go to Fix Central, and select Enterprise Marketing Management from the Product Group drop-down list.

      3. Select your Unica Product from the Product drop-down list.

      4. Select patch Version.

      5. In the Identify Fixes section, select Individual Fix IDs and enter the Access Key you retrieved from the IBM Support Portal Documentation site.

      Note: If you have not yet signed on using your IBM ID, you will be required to sign in before you can proceed to download. Users who do not have an individual IBM ID can create one at the Fix Central site.
