Abstract
This field guide describes the procedures for instant restore of full VM and of integrity validation of full VM backup data that is stored on the IBM® Tivoli® Storage Manager. The guide addresses the following three use cases for those procedures:
1. Integrity Validation of Full VM Backup Data
2. Full VM Instant Restore
3. Disk Instant Restore
This guide is for users knowledgeable in both VMware administration and in IBM® Tivoli® Storage Manager for Virtual Environments administration.
