This document serves to summarize the system requirements for IBM FileNet Integrated Document Management 4.0.3.

VS 6 with Service Pack 5 (includes Visual C++, Visual Basic, Visual Interdev), installed with the ActiveX option.

Customer can create new thick custom unmanaged application in VC++6.0 on top of IDM COM Objects.

Customer can create new thick custom managed applications using VS7.0, VS7.1, VS .NET 2003, .NET 2008, VS2005 with VC++.Net, VB.Net & C# on top of IDM COM Objects.

IDM 4.0.3 fix pack 1 supports CS 5.5 (CS on 32-bit and 64-bit) on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows operating systems.

IDM 4.0.3 supports CS 5.5 HFP1 only (CS on 32-bit) on 32-bit Windows operating systems.

IDM 4.0.3 supports IS 4.1.2 FP9 (IS on 32-bit Windows OS only).

IDM 4.0.3 bundles ISTK 4.1.2 and ISTK 4.1.2 FP2. IDM 4.0.3 supports both IS 4.1.2 and 4.2.0 out of the box. If an IDM 4.0.3 customer wishes to take advantage of all the IS 4.2.0 enhancements, then they need to apply the following components or fixes to their IDM client:

1. Install ISTK 4.2.0
2. Install the interim fix (IF393151)

Note:   There is no need to uninstall ISTK base or FP2.
