This page identifies the supported platforms for WebSphere Remote Server V7.1.
Content
In addition to the systems management accelerators, several products are bundled with IBM WebSphere Remote Server. You can install fix pack updates to the supported products if those updates are compatible.
Support pages for products bundled with WebSphere Remote Server
Refer to the support page for each bundled product for a description of its system requirements.
Note: WebSphere Remote Server does not support the z/OS operating system. Even if a bundled product supports the z/OS operating system, WebSphere Remote Server does not support it.

Editions of WebSphere Remote Server
The systems management accelerators, used to ease the installation of the WebSphere Remote Server software stack, are bundled with all the IBM Retail Store Server Editions and the IBM WebSphere Central Site Server. If you use the systems management accelerators to install the IBM software stack, you are restricted to the platforms supported by the accelerators.
If you choose to install the individual IBM software products manually instead of using the systems management accelerators, refer to the "Support pages for products bundled with WebSphere Remote Server" section of this document to determine the supported platforms for the individual products.
IBM Retail Store Server Editions
- IBM Retail Store Server Starter Edition V7.1
- IBM Retail Store Server Starter Edition with Informix Dynamic Server V7.1
- IBM Retail Store Server Advanced Edition V7.1
- IBM Retail Store Server Advanced Edition with Informix Dynamic Server V7.1
The accelerators bundled with all of the IBM Retail Store Server Editions support the following platforms:
- SUSE Linux Enterprise 10.1, 10.2, and 11
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2 and 5.3
- Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 and R2 SP2
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows XP Service Pack 2
- Windows Embedded POSReady 2009
IBM WebSphere Message Broker Retail Store Edition V7

IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus Retail Store Edition V7

IBM WebSphere Central Site Server
For IBM WebSphere Central Site Server, refer to the "Support pages for products bundled with WebSphere Remote Server" section of this document to determine the supported platforms for the individual products.
Note: If you use the accelerators to install the products, you are restricted to the platforms supported by the accelerators.
