Requesting a AOS session with IBM support.
Once you have opened your Service Request (SR) or otherwise known as Problem Management Report (PMR), an IBM representative may request to connect to your system using the Assist On-site tool. The below link provides direct access to this form. Note you will need to have the IBM representative on the phone, as he or she will have to generate and provide you a secure connection code.

WAS v6.1 or WAS v7?
Websphere Application Server product team has extended its support for WAS v6.1 to Sept 2013, WPG users can choose to continue using WAS v6.1 with WPG or optionally migrating WAS V6.1 to WAS 7.0. WPG 6.2.1 (and higher) supports WAS 7.0. Click for more education materials related to the WPG migration.
WebSphere Partner Gateway (WPG) Advanced and Enterprise Editions V6.0 have gone End of Service as of September 30, 2010.
Users should migrate to the newer versions of WebSphere Partner Gateway. This technote provides useful links and related information.

WPG Update Installer (UPDI) Validator utility
This tool can setup the WPG UPDI, deploy the UPDI Validator console changes, and validate the UPDI response file values. This tool is provided to ease the WebSphere Partner Gateway UPDI setup and validate response file values. The WPG UPDI validator utility for systems running WPG 6.2.0.x and 6.2.1.0 level can be found in this technote link, which also has the instructions to deploy and use it. The console change for this utility has been included in the WPG 6.2.1 Fix Pack1.
