  • WebSphere Transformation Extender Release Notes
  • Where patches for a product are specified, this means that these patches were required to resolve problems found during testing and should therefore be considered as the minimum necessary maintenance level. Further maintenance should be applied in accordance with the guidance of the relevant software manufacturer.
  • Defect support is available for virtualization environments where they relate to releases of this platform already supported by WebSphere Transformation Extender. Unless stated elsewhere in the system requirements, WebSphere Transformation Extender has not been specifically tested in virtualization environments. WebSphere Transformation Extender Support is therefore unable to assist in issues related to configuration and setup, or issues that are directly related to the virtualization environment itself.


WebSphere Transformation Extender 8.3 for Windows
Design StudioMinimum system requirements
CPU32 or 64 bit Intel Pentium processor (or equivalent) at 2GHz or faster (Dual Core is recommended)

WebSphere Transformation Extender runs as a 32 bit application on 64 bit processors.
Memory2 GB physical memory (3 GB physical memory is highly recommended)
Disk1 GB available disk space for a default installation, and 2 GB for a full installation - including Packs and documentation
Display1024 x 768 display resolution (1280 x 1024 is recommended)
