Abstract
IBM Content Manager for iSeries Client for Windows Version 5 Release1 fix pack 19 provides support for several versions of Windows.

IBM Content Manager for iSeries Client for Windows Version 5 Release 1 supports the following Windows versions:
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
- Windows Server 2008 R2 (excluding Citrix or Teminal Services)
IBM Content Manager for iSeries Client for Windows is a 32-bit application that is supported to run on both 32- and 64-bit versions of the operating system. In the case of a 64-bit installation, the product will automatically install in the default directory C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\CM for iSeries.
Only fix pack 19 of the IBM Content Manager for iSeries Client for Windows v5.1 provides support for the versions of Windows listed above. The link to this fix pack is in the "Related information" section below, under the 510.19 folder. Also, only physical PCs are supported with the Content Manager Client. Running in a Virtualization software environment has not been tested (see "Related information" section below for a link to a document discussing this) and is thus not supported.
There are currently no plans to support any version of Windows after Windows 7. For Microsoft Windows lifecycle dates, please click here.
Per Announcement Letter 916-117, IBM Content Manager for iSeries, and thereby the Content Manager for iSeries Client for Windows, will go out of support on September 30, 2018.
Note: There are no prerequisite 5722-VI1 (Content Manager for iSeries V5R3) PTFs needed to run fix pack 19 on the Content Manager for iSeries Client for Windows.
