This page describes the minimum system requirements for both hardware and software to operate IBM Content Manager Records Enabler Version 8.5.

Hardware

The following hardware is required for each IBM Content Manager Records Enabler-supported server and client application. These are minimum recommended requirements.

Processor Intel Pentium III 500 MHz or faster, or equivalent.
RAM 512 MB recommended.
An additional 512 MB RAM is required for each IBM Content Manager Records Enabler server feature installed.
Hard drive 1 GB
CD-ROM drive
AIX
Processor eServer p5, or pSeries POWER based processors 375 MHz or faster.

Operating system (server and client)

The IBM Content Manager Records Enabler server requires one of the following operating systems.

Virtualization support: The following versions of Microsoft Windows are also supported on VMware ESX 3.5 and 4.0. The following versions of AIX are also supported when using IBM PowerVM virtualization.
