Abstract
IBM WebSphere Process Server is a high-performance business engine which enables you to run processes meeting your business goals.
Built on open standards, it deploys and executes processes that orchestrate services (people, information, systems, and trading partners) within your service-oriented architecture (SOA) or non-SOA infrastructure.
Even though automation is always an objective for process design, many processes require human interaction. For these human interactions, a custom client application is required that enables users to view the process instances, and to work on the tasks assigned to them.
The sometimes complex implementation of a business process is, in most cases, transparent to the average business user. However, administrators will need a means of seeing the implementation details of a given process and will need to be able to maintain the overall system This requires a more powerful client than that of the average business user.
With the Business Process Choreographer Explorer, WebSphere Process Server provides a client application which gives administrators the ability to perform these tasks.
This document is intended for WebSphere Process Server administrators. It provides an introduction to the capabilities of the Business Process Choreographer Explorer client for those administrators who are not yet very familiar with the product, and delivers background information for experienced administrators. In addition, this document provides a comprehensive summary of the available configuration, installation, and tuning options for the Business Process Choreographer Explorer.
