Information center
DB2 9 for z/OS information center home
Search topics across all information for DB2 for z/OS, IMS, and DB2 and IMS Tools, including QMF. The Information Management Software for z/OS Solutions Information Center is the primary source for the information about DB2 for z/OS.

Installable information center: The Information Management Software for z/OS® Solutions Information Center is available as an installable information center for Microsoft® Windows® XP and Windows® 7 systems.
Licensed publications are not available for downloading on the web. You can obtain these licensed publications if you have a DB2 license by calling 1-800-879-2755, using Option 1 (United States only).
As part of an ongoing effort to improve your information experience, IBM is optimizing the information delivered with the DB2 for z/OS product for viewing on the web. BookManager format is discontinued after DB2 9 for z/OS. Learn more.
Recent information updates: Information center and PDF content is current as of the date listed in the "Published" column. However, you can find additional technical changes since the last publication date in the information center.
Such interim changes are published in the information center as micro-updates. If a topic in the information center contains recent additional technical changes, information in the footer indicates the date of the change. This updated information is currently available only in the information center.

Program Directories are intended for the system programmer responsible for program installation and maintenance. They contain information concerning the material and procedures associated with the installation of the product.
BookManager books
Support for BookManager format being discontinued
As part of an ongoing effort to deliver the best possible information experience IBM is optimizing the information that is delivered with our products for viewing in the information center and phasing out the BookManager® format. You might have noticed that the information for new products and features, such as the DB2 Accessories Suite for z/OS information, is not offered in BookManager format in the Version 9.1 library for DB2 for z/OS. The BookManager books will continue to be provided for the life cycle of our versions through Version 9.1. BookManager books are not supported after Version 9.1. Learn more.
The information center includes all of the information that you are used to seeing in BookManager and PDF, plus many improved features for finding and viewing the information that you need to do your job. We welcome your feedback about the information center. To submit comments, take one of the following actions:
- Click the Feedback link at the bottom of the information center topic that you want to comment about.
- Send your comment by email to db2zinfo@us.ibm.com, and be sure to describe where you found the information that you are commenting about.
