How to use the Top Ten Portlet on the IBM Support Portal

Abstract

This document is meant to show you how to use the new Top 10 portlets in the IBM Support Portal.

Where are the portlets found?

Once you select a product or products in the IBM Support Portal, the Top Ten portlet will emerge.




How are the portlets organized?

The Top Ten portlets are organized by Task and can be found on the following pages:

  • Support home
  • Troubleshoot
  • Plan & Install



What do the portlets display?

These portlets provide a glance at the most relevant content in your product space.

The portlets on each of the aforementioned pages dynamically shows two key perspectives:

  1. Most recent: As new content is created and existing content is updated, the most recently published documents will be displayed in ascending order (newest on top) in this portlet.



  2. Most viewed: Content that is frequently accessed will appear in descending order (highest count on top) in this portlet.



  3. Highest rated: Content that you have rated using the 5 stars method in each document.
