RMI/IIOP Interoperability - WebSphere Application Server for z/OS V6.0 Sample

White paper

Abstract

The Interop.ear is a simple (J2EE) application that performs an RMI/IIOP call from one platform to another. This can be useful for diagnosing setup or runtime problems, and for understanding how to perform remote invocations across platforms.

This paper documents scenarios of the Interop application deployed on one platform calling another instance of the Interop application deployed on a different platform. These scenarios include a servlet, a J2EE client, and a thin client calling a remote stateless session bean.
