Abstract
The purpose of this Tivoli Field Guide is to provide a general blueprint for cluster monitoring and some specifics regarding how to deploy Tivoli Messaging and Collaboration for Microsoft Exchange. The guide will explain some common cluster configurations, how to make the Tivoli Endpoint function on each configuration, and some best practices for managing the failover of monitors to passive nodes. The guide will also give some hints and tips necessary for successfully deploying Microsoft Exchange monitoring and some of its more advanced monitors.
