  4. Security Bulletin: Denial of Service with WebSphere Application Server and Scanning Tool (CVE-2014-0964)
    There is a potential denial of service with WebSphere Application Server Version 6.1 when running a Heartbleed scanning tool. WebSphere Application Server Versions 7.0 and higher are not affected by this.

    After WebSphere Application Server V7.0 Fix Pack 31 (V7.0.0.31) or V8.0 Fix Pack 8 (V8.0.0.8) is installed, threads may hang and an application server may stop responding to requests due to a problem introduced by APAR PM95795, which is included in these fix pack levels. The problem will only occur on Windows operating systems, and it will only occur if Asynchronous I/O (AIO) is enabled. AIO is enabled by default.

    A comprehensive list of recommended, generally available (GA) fixes for IBM WebSphere Application Server releases. Fix packs are cumulative. When a prerequisite or co-requisite fix pack is recommended, that specific fix pack or a later fix pack can be applied. For example, if Fix Pack 7.0.0.9 is required, applying Fix Pack 7.0.0.9, 7.0.0.11, 7.0.0.13, or a later fix pack is valid. Tables are organized by version in the order they were released.
