This optional update extends the BFMDW models for use with IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer

The download package below contains artifacts and information that provide term assignments between Infosphere Governance Catalog Data Classes and Industry Model business terms.
These assignments can then be used to aid in the auto assignment of business terms, to discovered and classified information, as part of an IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer process.

Prerequisites

IBM Banking and Financial Markets Data Warehouse 8.9.1

Installation Instructions

1. Extract the download package into your existing IBM Banking and Financial Markets Data Warehouse installation:
e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Industry Models\IBM Banking and Financial Markets Data Warehouse\v8.9.1.0"

2. This will add the following files to your BFMDW installation:

    • An number of IGC xml files containing BFMDW terms with data class assignments
    • An IGC query to show “Data Class->Term” assignment
    • A README file with further information on this update
