2.4 Superseded fixes:
---------------------
6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0001

2.5 APARS and defects included from superseded fixes
----------------------------------------------------
APAR: IV70952
Abstract: ON ZLINUX64 PLATFORM,IF THE GSK IS UPGRADED TO VERSION 8,AGENT
CAN NOT BE STARTED.
Additional Information:
When the OS agent v630 is installed it upgrades GSKit to version 8,
With this GSKit version agent fails to start with following error,
"error while loading shared libraries: libgsk7iccs_64.so: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory"

APAR: IV72476
Abstract: ON ZLINUX64 PLATFORM, DOMINO AGENT DEPENDS ON AX LS3246, BUT THE
ARCHCODE IS NOT SUPPORTED FROM ITM630
Additional Information:
When OS agent v630 is installed, ax component gets installed under
ls3266 arch code. But, as Domino agent is installed under ls3246 arch code;
it still depends on ax ls3246.To resolve this, Domino agent should be
Installed for ls3266

3.1 Prerequisites for this fix
-------------------------------
The prerequisite level for this fix is as follows:
- Lotus Domino 8.5 or later

4.0 Image directory contents
============================
This fix image contains the following files:
- 6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002.README - This README file
- 6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002.tar.gz - Fix archive .tar format

Note: The .tar and .zip files are identical in content. Use the .tar
file if you are working in a UNIX(R) environment; use the .zip file if
you are working in a Windows(R) environment.

The fix archive file contains the following components:
- ITCAM Agent for Lotus Domino
- Tivoli Enterprise Portal Browser Client support for Domino Agent
- Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server support for Domino Agent
- Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server support for Domino Agent

5.0 Installation instructions
=============================
This is a full installation image for Domino Agent

5.1 Before installing the fix
-----------------------------
- The prerequisites listed under section 3.1 entitled 'Prerequisites
for this fix' must be installed before this fix can be installed.

- For the purpose of this README, the symbol <CANDLEHOME> is the
IBM Tivoli Monitoring installation directory. The default value
for CANDLEHOME is '/opt/IBM/ITM' on UNIX systems and 'C:\IBM\ITM'
on Windows systems.

- Before installing this fix on UNIX systems, set the environment
variable CANDLEHOME to the IBM Tivoli Monitoring installation
directory.

For example:
> CANDLEHOME=/opt/IBM/ITM
> export CANDLEHOME

5.2 Local agent installation
----------------------------
1. Transfer the appropriate archive file
6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002.tar.gz (on Linux or UNIX) and
6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002.zip (on Windows system) to a temporary directory
on the system where the agent code is to be installed.

2. Expand the archive file using the "tar" command on UNIX systems
or an extract utility on Windows systems. This step creates a
directory structure that contains fixes for all of the supported
platforms.

3. Follow the instructions in the ITCAM for Apps 7.2.1.2 User Guide to install the agent.

4. To configure the Domino agent, follow the instructions in ITCAM for Apps 7.2.1.2 User Guide.

5.3 Remote agent installation
-----------------------------
1. Transfer the appropriate archive file
(6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002.tar.gz or .zip) to a temporary directory
on the IBM Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server system.
For the purpose of this README, the symbol <TEMP> represents the
fully qualified path to this directory.
Note: On Windows, this includes the drive letter.

2. Expand the archive file using the tar command on UNIX systems or
an unzip utility on Windows systems. This creates a directory
structure that contains fixes for all of the supported platforms.

3. To add the agent fix bundles into the remote deploy depot, use the
tacmd addBundles command found in $CANDLEHOME/bin on UNIX systems
or in %CANDLE_HOME%\bin on Windows systems. For more information
on the tacmd addBundles command, see Appendix A. Commands
reference in the IBM Tivoli Monitoring Administrator's Guide.

On UNIX systems,
if the fix was expanded to <TEMP>/6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002:
For Unix or Linux deployment
> $CANDLEHOME/bin/tacmd addBundles -t gb -i <TEMP>/6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002/unix
For Windows deployment
> $CANDLEHOME/bin/tacmd addBundles -t gb -i <TEMP>/6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002/Windows/Deploy

On a Windows system,
if the fix was expanded to <TEMP>/6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002:
For Unix or Linux deployment
> %CANDLE_HOME%\bin\tacmd addBundles -t gb -i <TEMP>\6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002\unix
For Windows deployment
> %CANDLE_HOME%\bin\tacmd addBundles -t gb -i <TEMP>\6.2.1-TIV-ITM_DOM-FP0002\Windows\Deploy

where:
-t specifies the product code or codes of the products to add.
The Domino agent product code is gb.
-i is the directory that contains the deployment bundles to be
added to the depot.

4. You can deploy the agent through the portal or command line.

Deploy Option 1. Deploy through the portal
--------------------------------------

Follow the instructions below to deploy the agent through the
portal client.

a. Open the Tivoli Enterprise Portal.
b. In the Navigation tree, navigate to the computer where you want
to deploy the agent.
c. Right-click the computer and click Add Managed System.
d. Select the agent that you want to deploy and click OK.
e. Complete the configuration fields required for the agent. For
information about these fields, refer to Agent installation and configuration
section for Lotus Domino Agent in ITCAM for Apps 7.2.1.2 User Guide.
f. Click Finish.
g. If the computer where you are deploying the agent already has a
version of that agent installed, you can stop the deployment, add
a new instance of the agent, if possible, or reconfigure the
existing agent.

A message tells you when the deployment finishes successfully.

Deploy Option 2. Deploy through the command line
--------------------------------------------
To login to the Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server, and deploy
the fix to the appropriate nodes where the agent is running, use
the following tacmd commands. For more information on the
tacmd login and addSystem commands, see Appendix A. Commands
reference in the IBM Tivoli Monitoring Administrator's Guide.

On a UNIX system:
> $CANDLEHOME/bin/tacmd login -s <server>
-u <itmuser>
-p <password>

> $CANDLEHOME/bin/tacmd listSystems

The output shows the Managed System Name for the OS agent on the
remote system to be updated. Use this value as the target of the
tacmd addSystem command.

> $CANDLEHOME/bin/tacmd addSystem -t gb
-n <Managed system name>
-p config.KGB_CHECK_DB_EXCLUDE_PATH=<value>
config.KGB_CHECK_DB_INCLUDE_PATH=<value>
