Notes:

IBM Cognos Business Intelligence administrators must update the Cognos Connection Installer for Cognos Insight using Cognos Connection Installer for Cognos Insight 10.2.1 Fix Pack 2 Interim Fix 6.

Prerequisites

This Interim Fix requires that Cognos Insight Standard Edition 10.2.1 Fix Pack 2 is already installed.
This Interim Fix contains previous Interim Fixes.

Installation Instructions

To install Cognos Insight Standard Edition 10.2.1 Fix Pack 2 Interim Fix 6:

  1. Use the link in the Download package section of this document to download the appropriate file.
  2. On your computer, navigate to the directory where you downloaded the installation file.
  3. Use a decompression tool to unpack the .tar.gz file.
  4. To begin the installation, double-click IBMCognosInsightSE64_10_2_1_2.msp or IBMCognosInsightSE_10_2_1_2.msp from within the local directory where the file was unpacked.
  5. Follow the steps in the installation wizard until the installation is complete.
