Cognos TM1 10.1.1.2 Interim Fix 6 (10.1.1 FP2 IF6) provides important corrections for Cognos TM1 10.1.1 FP2.
This interim fix provides important product corrections for Cognos TM1 10.1.1.2 (10.1.1 FP2) to address security vulnerabilities found in the product.

June 1, 2016: If you have installed TM1 10.1.1.2 Interim Fix 6 and are experiencing:
- Cognos Configuration throws an error when opened
Then please install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Re-distributable Package to resolve the issue.

If you are downloading after June 1, 2016, you can bypass above step as the Downloads below have been updated to prevent the error.
If you are using IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, you should also apply IBM Cognos Business Intelligence Server 2016Q1 Security fixes. This will ensure TM1 10.1.1.2 and Business Intelligence continue to operate as expected.
This Interim Fix requires an existing installation of Cognos TM1 10.1.1.2. It will also install over any Cognos TM1 10.1.1.2 Interim fixes and contains previous Interim Fixes.
- Ensure Cognos TM1 10.1.1.2 is installed.
- Refer to Release Notes to back up existing data and configuration files.
- Install this interim fix.

If you encounter the following error when installing 'up_tm1biinterop' kit:
'You cannot install this version of the product over a previously installed version. Please choose another directory.'
please use this workaround:
From your BI installation location, find and modify the 'rendition.dat' file by adding 'c10dot264' (example here is for 64-bit install) to Base Rendition Name.
