Abstract

This document describes how to download IBM® Maximo® Asset Management 7.6 OR Maximo Asset Management Multitenanacy 7.6 by using the IBM Passport Advantage web site.

Download Description


1. Go to the Passport Advantage site and sign in.
2. Download the correct files for your platform/component using the tables below.

    • Find your platform in the appropriate table, depending on if you are installing Multitenancy. (Multitenancy systems provide software to multiple client organizations from a single, shared instance of the software. )
    • Download all files listed in the Required Files column for your platform/component.

      IMPORTANT: Ensure that you install the correct version of Maximo Asset Management. If you install Maximo Asset Management Multitenancy, you cannot revert to Maximo Asset Management. If you install Maximo Asset Management, you cannot upgrade to Maximo Asset Management Multitenancy.
3. Extract all contents of the compressed files to the same folder that you will install the component from. All files for a component must be extracted to the same location. The folder name cannot contain any spaces.
4. To install the components, start the launchpad (from the extracted location) using one of the following commands:
          Windows 64: launchpad64.exe
          AIX/Linux: launchpad.sh
