Abstract

This docunemt explains how to download version 9.1.2 of InfoSphere Data Architect.

Download Description

IBM InfoSphere Data Architect is a collaborative data-modeling and information-integration tool for discovering, modeling, relating, and standardizing diverse data assets. It helps you create new data models from scratch or by unifying disparate data sources in your organization. You can share models across a team, print them, publish them on the web, and translate them to physical implementations, which you can test and deploy.

2 GB of disk space to store the full set of downloadable parts
2 GB to unpack the parts
2 GB to install the product
Total: 6 GB


Updating from Version 8.5:

If you are updating the product from Version 8.5, follow these steps:
  1. To see which parts you need to download from IBM Passport Advantage, select the tab for your operating system below.
  2. Go to Passport Advantage.
  3. Download the parts and unpack each part into a separate temporary directory on your system.
  4. Open IBM Installation Manager, then click File > Preferences. The Preferences window opens. Add the repository to the list of repositories, then click OK.
  5. Click the Update button and complete the pages of the Update wizard to update to InfoSphere Data Architect Version 9.1.2.


Downloading and assembling the product:

  1. To see which parts you need to download from IBM Passport Advantage, select the tab for your operating system below.
  2. Go to Passport Advantage.
  3. Download the parts and unpack each part into a separate temporary directory on your system.
  4. Follow the instructions in the installation guide to install the product.
