Abstract

This document describes how to download IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface, Version 10.5 from the IBM Passport Advantage website.

Download Description

This version of InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface supports versions 9.1, 11.3, 11.5, 11.7 and 11.7.1 of InfoSphere Information Server.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Note: Address Verification Interface 10.5 is out of support as of September 30, 2022, and the Q3 2022 data will be the last data available for AVI 10.5. Any users should be on version 10.6. If you do not already have entitlement to AVI 10.6 data sets, contact your sales representative.

Note: with the release of AVI Q1 2020, the Interface and the Database must be in sync. While AVI does not fail if the two are out of sync, the results are suboptimal.

Note: this version does not work with 11.7.1.2 and later due to changes made in Information Server for Red Hat 8 support. Version 10.6 must be used for Red Hat 8 support.

Follow the steps described here for updating a package.

Before you install IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface, Version 10, call IBM Support and reference APAR JR46171. IBM Support provides guidance to resolve problems when you are installing on a system that has WebSphere 7.0.0.25 or higher installed.

If you are running Information Server version 9.1.x, before you install IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface, Version 10.5, call IBM Support and reference APAR JR48647.

If you are running Information Server version 11.3.x, 11.5.x, or 11.7.x on AIX, you must install the patch for APAR JR57028 before you can install the Q2 2017 or later Interface file. The patch needs to be installed only once and you can download it here from Fix Central.

IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface provides comprehensive address parsing, standardization, validation, and geocoding, which is available in selected packages against reference files for over 240 countries and territories. The reference files are refreshed quarterly to provide the most current address data for a country or territory.

1. Review the system requirements, and if necessary, download the product and any required fix packs or updates.
2. Read the Quick Start Guide for the process overview and return here to download the product.
3. Review the release notes for the latest information to ensure successful installations.
4. Read the installation information to perform the installation.
1. Go to the Find Downloads and Media web page on the IBM Passport Advantage website.
2. Under Download finder options, select the Find by part number search option.
3. Search for each downloadable image by part number.
4. Download all of the following required parts:
  - Interface file that supports your OS and Information Server combination
  - Interface Quarterly Update file
  - Installation Manager to install Reference Data
  - Appropriate Reference Data files (parsing, address, or geo)
5. Use a file extracting utility that supports large file extractions to extract each of the parts into a single, temporary directory on your system.
