This document describes how to download and assemble IBM® Security Privileged Identity Manager version 1.0.1.1 components using the Passport Advantage® Online Web site.

Overview
IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager helps organizations manage, automate, and track the use of shared privileged identities.
The solution provides:
- Centralized administration, secure access, and storage of privileged shared account credentials
- Role-based access control for shared accounts
- Lifecycle management of shared accounts ownership
- Single sign-on through automated check-out and check-in of shared credentials
- Session recording and playback
- Auditing of shared access credential activities
- Integration with the broader Identity and Access Management Governance portfolio
Downloading and assembling the product
- Use the tables in this document to find the eAssembly or part numbers of the downloadable images that you need.
- From the Passport Advantage Online website, use the numbers to search for the downloadable images.
- Download all of the optional and required parts that you need. If you download the eAssembly, all individual part numbers within the eAssembly are displayed.
- Create a temporary directory for your downloaded software.
- Unpack each of the parts into the temporary directory.
- Follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide to install the product. See the IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager documentation.
