If Maximo Asset Management version 18.104.22.168, or a later version up to and including Maximo Asset Management 7.5, is installed on a separate server, an error occurs.
During the installation of IBM Real-Time Asset Locator, after the URL for the Maximo Asset Management server is provided, the following warning is displayed:

While it is possible to log on to Maximo Asset Management through a browser, the installation process fails. Consequently, it is impossible to integrate the IBM Maximo Adapter for Real-time Asset Locator on fix pack versions of Maximo Asset Management that are later than version 22.214.171.124.
In interim fix IC91948, the installer has been modified. Consequently, IBM Maximo Adapter for Real-time Asset Locator can be installed on Maximo Asset Management version 126.96.36.199, and on all later versions up to and including all fix pack versions of Maximo Asset Management 7.5.
