C++ compiler requirements
Before you can install and use Rational Software Architect RealTime Edition, you must install a Gnu-based C++ compiler such as Cygwin. For more information, see the product information center.
Disk space requirements
You need the following disk space to store and extract the electronic parts, and install Rational Software Architect RealTime Edition, Version 9.0:

Extracting the compressed files
Extract all compressed files into the same directory.

If you use FLEXlm floating or token licenses for your product and chargeable components, you must upgrade your license key server to Rational License Key Server, Version 8.1.2, or later, before installing the product.
Rational License Key Server, Version 8.1.2, or later, can used with earlier versions of the product.

|It is recommended for the evaluation of Rational Software Architect RealTime Edition running on a new Eclipse version. This release is a refresh pack of Rational Software Architect RealTime Edition. It contains enhancements and fixes to client reported and internally found defects.|
