CC04: IBM CICS Transaction Gateway SSL Configuration Generator
This SupportPac provides an SSL Configuration Generator for CICS Transaction Gateway.
SupportPac CC04 provides a tool for generating a scrambled password suitable for use in the CICS Transaction Gateway (CICS TG) configuration file. This secures the password used to protect an SSL key ring within the configuration file.
This SupportPac provides a Java™ tool which accepts a password and produces an option suitable for inserting into the configuration file.
Generate or update existing Gateway daemon configuration to allow SSL communication between Java client applications and the Gateway daemon.
Skill level required:
Plug-in developers must be familiar with CICS TG administration and SSL.
