Abstract
This interim fix (4.2.2.145) addresses the Java security concerns of APAR IC88003 for IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center version 4.2.2.

This interim fix shows up as Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.2.2.145 and Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication 4.2.2.3. Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication is not updated with this interim fix and contains the same 4.2.2.3 image as fix pack 3.
The following APAR is addressed with this fix pack. An updated APAR Fix List with detailed descriptions is available.

Notes:
- Some users have encountered problems downloading fix pack files in the past. Larger images may not download successfully through your web browser due to their size. Use an FTP client, rather than a web browser, to download files if you encounter this. A file containing the checksum values of the images is available in the Installation Instructions section below. - Use the GNU tar program (1.14 or higher) rather than the native AIX tar program to extract files from Tivoli Storage Productivity Center installation images. The AIX tar program can truncate long file names, which may cause errors with the Tivoli Storage Productivity Center application.

Prerequisites
This is a full version of IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center and IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication and can be applied as an upgrade to any IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.2.x system (or earlier back through 3.x).
Installation Instructions
This interim fix can be installed using the IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center upgrade procedure covered in Chapter 4 of the IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center and IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication Installation and Configuration Guide. Please review the limitations and known issues technote from 4.2.2 fix pack 3 prior to applying this interim fix. It contains last-minute information and changes that were not included in the final product documentation.
