IBM Integrated Information Core 1.4.0.1. interim fix for APAR JR43912

Downloadable files

Abstract

The current timestamp used to handle client requests in the Enterprise Asset Management component of the IBM Integrated Information Core fails to process multiple requests.

Download Description

The timestamp is used as a client handle when Generic Web Service HDA requests are sent to the Sisco Adapters. When multiple Generic Web Service HDA requests are sent simultaneously, the client handle of some of the tags remains the same because of many tags being processed in a short time span. The fix updates the application to use random function instead of timestamp to resolve this issue.
