Download Description

APARs fixed in IF0012

IV15360 REMOTE CONTROL CONSOLE SEARCH FILTERING ERROR

Fixed the remaining issue seen when searching and filtering sessions. This was a problem where after doing a search for targets, target groups, users or sessions, it was not possible to filter the returned results by clicking on the column value, as is possible with any other report.

IV21642 P2P SESSION END IN FILE TRANSFER MODE

Fixed a problem where during peer-to-peer sessions, that are ended while in file transfer mode, the controller user interface does not display the grey screen with the 'Disconnected' message. The file transfer panels remain on the screen and the user can continue browsing the local file system but not the remote file system. However, he may not realise that the session has ended.

IV21644 TARGET CAN ABEND WHEN SESSION IS ENDED WHILE FILE TRANSFER IS ACTIVE

Fixed a problem where a remote control session that is ended or ends abnormally, while a file or files are being transferred from the target to the controller, causes the trc_base service to crash. To allow further remote control sessions, the target had to be restarted or the target system rebooted.

IV24254 TARGET SEARCHES DO NOT WORK PROPERLY

Fixed an issue seen When conducting a search, the results returned can be the results of a previous search. The user has to click on refresh to force new results to show.

IV25702 TARGET NOT REPORTING SERIAL NUMBER AND UUID ON LINUX

Fixed a problem where in some Linux kernels, the target is unable to report the computer manufacturer, model and serial number. The target is also reporting a BIOS UUID containing all zeroes. Target reports on the TRC server have blanks for these columns and the data is missing from the System Information function as well.

IV28969 CONTROLLER DOES NOT END RECORDING UNTIL USER CLICKS OK

Fixed a problem where during a session that is not actively monitored by a user on the controller side but with a recording being carried out, the recording will not actually end until the End Session Dialogue has been confirmed. This results in a potentially long (but eventless) recording.

IV28989 LINUX SEND / PULL CLIPBOARD ACTION INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR

Fixed a problem where the Send / Pull clipboard action on a Linux target is not behaving correctly. For example, you have to issue "pull" twice in order to execute it.

IV28994 LINUX CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ACTION NOT WORKING

Fixed a problem where the Clear instructions feature, used to clear any highlights and guidance drawings was not working on Linux.

IV29019 PANIC KEY FUNCTIONALITY NOT AVAILABLE UNDER LINUX

Fixed a problem where the PANIC key functionality was not implemented in Linux.

IV30716 ONCE A FOREIGN KEY IS CREATED IT IS NEVER DROPPED AUTOMATICALLY VIA DB SCRIPTS

Fixed an issue where an upgrade of Tivoli Remote Control server from a downlevel version results in database errors for foreign key restrictions when adding rules in the Target Membership Rules page.
