Downloadable files

Abstract

This Fix Pack will upgrade your IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0 installation to IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0 FP1 (15.0.0.1). It applies to IBM SPSS Modeler Professional and IBM SPSS Modeler Premium

Download Description

This Fix Pack provides important product corrections for IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0.

Fix Pack packages are available for IBM SPSS Modeler Professional components from the download table below. Fix Pack packages for the IBM SPSS Modeler Premium add-ons: Text Analytics (TA), Entity Analytics (EA), Social Network Analysis (SNA), and Entity Analytics Unleashed (EAU), can be obtained from SPSS Modeler 15.0 Fix Pack 1 - Premium Add-ons.

Issues corrected: Fix List

For release notes, please refer to SPSS Modeler 15.0 Fix Pack 1 Release Notes

Prerequisites

This Fix Pack can only be installed over existing installations of IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0*.

*with the exception of Modeler Professional Server Administrative Console.

NOTE: Applying the Modeler Client 15.0 FP1 can take at least 10 minutes on some systems due to a configuration step at the end of the installation. Please do not cancel the Fix Pack installation during this time. Please see SPSS Modeler 15.0 Fix Pack 1 Release Notes for more information.

NOTE: If you are applying a Fix Pack to any Modeler component (Batch, Server, Client, or Collaboration and Deployment Servers (C&DS) adapters), please ensure you install the equivalent Fix Pack to all other Modeler components. In addition, if applying the Modeler 15.0 Fix Pack 1 adapter to C&DS, please first apply the required C&DS Fix Pack - these are detailed in the Modeler Adapter installation instructions below.

WARNING: If you are downloading the UNIX or Linux Fix Packs using Internet Explorer, using the HTTP download method, do not left-click the package on the Fix Central page that displays the package for download because this will cause your browser to freeze. Instead, right-click on the package and select "save target as" to download it.

Important notice regarding Windows 8 support

Support for Windows 8 is introduced for the client products with this Fix Pack. However, the base 15.0 Modeler Professional Administration Console and the IBM SPSS Data Access Pack (SDAP) will not install on this platform.

Please see the Fix Pack 1 Release Notes for further details of how to install these components on Windows 8.

NOTE that for C&DS 4.2 and 4.2.1 there is an additional "Server" subdirectory within the directory to which the Collaboration and Deployment Services software was installed at the repository host that must be included, for example:

For C&DS 4.2.1:

C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Collaboration and Deployment Services\4.2.1\Server

For C&DS 4.2:

C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Collaboration and Deployment Services\4.2\Server

5. If using a WebSphere application, log into the WebSphere profile and enable each application disabled in step 2.

Here are the steps to enable the auto start for an application:

a). Go to the Target specific application status page for your application. Click Applications > Application Types > WebSphere enterprise applications > application_name > Target specific application status.

b). Select the target server on which the application resides.
