Abstract
When a Sonitor device sends an event due to a tag low battery alert, the event is not displayed in the Asset Visibility Client.
Download Description
The Sonitor event adapter includes low battery alerts in a location event. Because of the WebSphere Business Events settings, battery status information that is contained in location events does not send a battery alert to WebSphere Sensor Events. Therefore, a battery alert is not displayed in the Asset Visibility Client.
Interim fix IC86481 modifies the behavior of the Sonitor event adapter. The battery status is checked and a diagnostic message is generated that causes WebSphere Business Events to send a battery alert to WebSphere Sensor Events. The battery alert is then displayed in the Asset Visibility Client.
