Abstract
This document describes how to download and assemble IBM® Connections 4.0 from Passport Advantage®.
Download Description
IBM Connections is social networking software designed for the workplace. Its applications help you to establish dynamic networks that connect people, information, and business goals.

Space requirements
- 3 GB of disk space to store the full set of downloadable parts, and 11 GB of disk space to unpack the parts.
- 100 GB of disk space to install and configure the product (including databases).
Downloading and assembling the product
- Using your web browser, navigate to the Find Downloads and Media page on the IBM Passport Advantage Online website. (You must log in to continue.)
- Select the Find by part number search option under Download finder options.
- Search for each downloadable image by part number (parts are listed and described by platform).
- Download all the parts that you need.
- Unpack each of the parts to a single, temporary directory on your system.
- Open the Quick Start image and follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide to install the product.
