This fix pack shows up as Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.2.2.119 and Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication 4.2.2.2. Both versions are part of 4.2.2 fix pack 2.

The following features were added for Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication 4.2.2 fix pack 2.

• StartGC command is enabled for Global Mirror sessions to start Global Copy mode
• Support full ESE volume support on all roles in Global Mirror with Practice Session for DS8000 version 6.2
• XIV Gen 2 to XIV Gen 3 remote copy interoperability

Language pack updates have been provided with the fix pack and are available to download.

• Use the GNU tar program (1.14 or higher) rather than the native AIX tar program to extract files from Tivoli Storage Productivity Center installation images. The AIX tar program can truncate long file names, which may cause errors with the Tivoli Storage Productivity Center application.

This is a full version of IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center and IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication and can be applied as an upgrade to any IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.2.x system (or earlier back through 3.x).
