Tivoli Workload Scheduler for Applications, version 8.6

The IBM Tvoli Workload Scheduling Suite is a set of products provided by IBM to automate all workload management tasks. The scheduling features of Tivoli Workload Scheduler help you plan every phase of your workload production. Tivoli Workload Scheduler for Applications provides agents which run access methods which extend the job scheduling functions of Tivoli Workload Scheduler to other systems and applications, namely the Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, and SAP^® R/3 applications, and for z/OS^® through the JES or OPC interfaces.

Downloading and assembling the product

1. Download all required images and those optional images that you require. The images are described by operating system in the tabbed sections of this document.

2. Most of the DVD images are organized into assemblies. An assembly is a virtual collection of DVDs. To download an assembly, use the assembly's EImage part number in Passport Advantage Online to find the assembly. Then download the individual DVDs in the assembly, one-by-one. Assemblies are highlighted in the table of DVDs, below.

   Alternatively, use an individual DVD's EImage part number to find the DVD. Then download it.

3. Unpack each of the images into the same temporary directory on your system.

4. Follow the detailed instructions in the User's Guide to install the product, referencing the temporary directory.
