Abstract

A problem during packaging of the externally published APAR PM51310 would display the problem description of APAR PM53035 and has the code changes of PM53035.

PM60895 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:?
The externally published fix of APAR PM51310 has a packaging issue due to which it has referenced other APARs. Opening a new APAR to deliver and publish the code changes of the APAR PM51310 externally.

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server who downloaded the interim fix for the externally published APAR PM51310 from the public site. The clients who received the interim fix from IBM Leve 2 or Level 3 support are not affected.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A problem during packaging of the externally published APAR PM51310 would display the problem description of APAR PM53035 and has the code changes of PM53035. Please note this problem is only observed for the interim fix that was downloaded from the public site and is not observed for the APAR that has been provided by IBM support personnel.

RECOMMENDATION:
None

A problem during packaging of externally published APAR PM51310 would display the problem description of APAR PM53035.And has the code changes of the PM53035. Through the APAR PM60895 we are republishing the changes of the APAR PM51310. Note that PM51310, as it ships in any WebSphere Application Server fix pack does not have any problem. This is an issue with the published interim fix only.
