This document describes how to download the IBM Forms Server Extender 8.0 installation image from IBM's Passport Advantage Online Web site.
Download Description
IBM Forms Server Extender lets you install IBM Forms Server components on additional machines. IBM Forms Server enables the creation and delivery of XML forms applications and enables integration of e-forms data with server-side applications.
IBM Forms Server - API provides specialized functions that extend the capabilities of IBM Forms.
IBM Forms Server - Webform Server translates XFDL documents into HTML/JavaScript documents. This allows users to view, fill out, sign, and submit XFDL documents using only a Web browser.
IBM Forms Server - P8 Integrator integrates Forms products with FileNet P8 Workplace.
IBM Forms Server - Forms Services Platform provides a collection of libraries that help you develop applications for extending IBM Forms products and interacting with XFDL documents.
IBM Forms Experience Builder enables you to design a form, set roles to create a workflow, deploy an application, and review submitted results from a single web interface.
Installation Instructions
1. Sign in to Passport Advantage Online: http://www.ibm.com/software/howtobuy/passportadvantage/
2. Search for and download IBM Forms Server Extender 4.0 (part number CRHL9ML).
3. Unpack the part into a temporary directory on your system.
4. Log on as an administrator, run the installer, and follow the instructions.
