This document describes how to download and install IBM Rational Focal Point, version 6.5.1.1.

IBM Rational Focal Point, version 6.5.1.1 includes defect fixes and the following new enhancements:
- Validate the links to artifacts on the Rational Solution for CLM server
- Synchronize the data between Rational Focal Point and Rational Solution for CLM

Installation Instructions
Download the package from the Fix Central link provided at the bottom of this page. For more information, see the installation guide in the information center. You can install Rational Focal Point 6.5.1.1 either as a direct installation, or as an upgrade.
Note: You must update the custom business rules before upgrading Rational Focal Point. For more information, see Updating custom business rules.
- Direct installation of 6.5.1.1:
Prerequisite: You need IBM Installation Manager 1.4.3 or later to install Rational Focal Point.
- Download Rational Focal Point, Version 6.5.1.1 fix pack from Fix Central specified at the bottom of this page.
- Extract the 6.5.1.1-Rational-RFP-FP001.zip files to a temporary directory.
- In the IBM Installation Manager, click File > Preferences and add the locally downloaded Rational Focal Point, Version 6.5.1.1 repository location to the list of repositories. For example, <temporary directory>\6.5.1.1-Rational-RFP-FP001\diskTag.inf.
- Click Install to directly install the complete package.
- Upgrading to 6.5.1.1:
- Download Rational Focal Point, Version 6.5.1.1 fix pack from Fix Central specified at the bottom of this page.
- Extract the 6.5.1.1-Rational-RFP-FP001.zip files to a temporary directory.
- In the IBM Installation Manager, click File > Preferences and add the locally downloaded Rational Focal Point, Version 6.5.1.1 repository location to the list of repositories. For example, <temporary directory>\6.5.1.1-Rational-RFP-FP001\diskTag.inf
- Click Update and proceed with the update.

The Rational Focal Point version 6.5.1.1 package is available for download from Fix Central. To be able to download the package, you must have valid credentials. The link to download the complete package from Fix Central is provided below.
