This update fixes the following APARs*:
LI76580 - Incorrect result with -qsmp=omp
LI76581 - Assembler can not open file
LI76584 - -qhot causing threads to loop full
LI76598 - January 2012 Update for XL Fortran for Linux, V12.1 (RHEL 5)
LI76599 - January 2012 Runtime for XL Fortran for Linux, V12.1 (RHEL 5/RHEL 6)


Note: APAR LI76267 adds Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL6) support to the runtime only. If the 32-bit libstdc++ package is not installed on the target RHEL6 system, running programs compiled with the XL Fortran compiler may fail due to the missing shared library libstdc++.so.6. To resolve the issue, install the following 32-bit package from the RHEL6 distribution:

rpm -ivh libstdc++-4.4.4-13.el6.ppc.rpm


SLES 10 and SLES 11
This update fixes the following APARs*:
LI76586 - Incorrect result with -qsmp=omp
LI76587 - Assembler can not open file
LI76480 - -qhot causing threads to loop full
LI76600 - January 2012 Update for XL Fortran for Linux, V12.1 (SLES 10/ SLES 11)

IBM XL Fortran for Linux, V12.1 compiler, at the base level (12.1.0.0) or higher.
