Abstract
This interim fix (4.1.1.106) has an APAR fix for regression APAR IC70486. It supersedes IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.1.1 fix pack 5 (4.1.1.105).

This interim fix will show up as Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.1.1.106 and Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication 4.1.1.5. There is no change to Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication with this interim fix if you already have 4.1.1.5.
The following APAR is addressed with this interim fix. No other fixes have been included. An updated APAR list with detailed descriptions is available.

Notes:
#1 - APAR IC64793
Use the GNU tar program rather than the native AIX tar program to extract files from Total Storage Productivity Center installation images. The AIX tar program might truncate long file names, which can cause errors in Total Storage Productivity Center and Tivoli Integrated Portal installation.
#2 - The Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication version in the 4.1.1.106 package has not changed from the version in the 4.1.1.105 package. If you are upgrading from 4.1.1.105, you will be prompted during the installation to make a choice about the version. You should choose Cancel to skip the Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication installation as it is the same version you already have.
#3 - If you apply this interim fix to upgrade your system to 4.1.1.106 and later upgrade to 4.2.0 or 4.2.1, you will have APAR IC70486 applied in that environment. If you directly install 4.2.0 or 4.2.1, you will not have the IC70486 fix until a later fix pack applies it.
Prerequisites
This fix pack is a full version of IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center and IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Replication image and can be applied as an upgrade to any IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.1.0.x or 4.1.1.x system.
