ERROR DESCRIPTION:
When attempting to start a WebSphere eXtreme Scale server in stand-alone mode, the server fails to start and the following error is encountered in SystemOut.log:
JSAS0010E:
disabled. Exception: {1}.
JSAS0011E: [org.omg.CORBA.INITIALIZE: vmcid: 0x0 minor
code: 0 completed: No

All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server V7.0 and WebSphere eXtreme Scale servers with security enabled.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The WebSphere eXtreme Scale server fails to start with security enabled.
RECOMMENDATION:
None
The WebSphere eXtreme Scale server is treated as a server, but it does not have access to the WebSphere Application Server security configuration. That prevents the server from starting.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
A check was added to treat the WebSphere eXtreme Scale server as a client.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Pack 7.0.0.13. Refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
