PM08293 resolves the following problem:
ERROR DESCRIPTION:
If virtual member manager (VMM) realm delimiter is @, when you login with a mail address that also contains @, VMM login may fail with exception CWWIM4536E. The quick fix is replacing realm delimiter @ with /.

The quick fix is replacing VMM realm delimiter @ with / in wimconfig.xml.
PROBLEM SUMMARY
USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server V6.1 or V7.0, who use federated repositories (Virtual Member Manager).
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Login failure with attribute mail when VMM realm delimiter is '@'.
RECOMMENDATION:
None
If VMM realm delimiter is '@', when you login with a mail address that also contains '@', VMM login may fail with exception CWWIM4536E - The principal name is missing or empty.
The quick fix is replacing realm delimiter @ with / in wimconfig.xml.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
The problem has been fixed, login with mail address when realm delimiter '@' won't thrown exception.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
