IBM Rational ClearQuest Full-Text Search Administrator tool

The Rational® ClearQuest® Full-Text Search Administrator tool replaces existing full-text search tools such as cqtssetup.pl and cqtsdbcrawler.pl, which are included in ClearQuest 7.1.x. The tool hides the complexity and low-level details of setting up, configuring, and administering full-text search.
You run the Rational® ClearQuest® Full-Text Search Administrator tool on the server where the full-text search feature is installed. The tool is available in the following languages: English, Brazilian, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Simplified-Chinese, Traditional-Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Procedure

Note: CLEARQUEST_HOME refers to the location where Rational products are installed. The default values are:

On Windows:	C:\Program Files\IBM\RationalSDLC\ClearQuest\
On Linux and UNIX systems:	/opt/IBM/RationalSDLC/clearquest/

1. Download the compressed file and extract it to your CLEARQUEST_HOME directory.
   
   You should see the following file and directory:
   
   CLEARQUEST_HOME\cqtsadmin.pl
CLEARQUEST_HOME\CQTsAdmin\
   
   
2. Locate the IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® Full-Text Search Administrator's Guide in this directory:
   
   CLEARQUEST_HOME\CQTsAdmin\Documentation\
   
   The documentation is available in English, French, German, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The file naming convention for the documentation is cqtsadmin-xx.pdf, where xx is a two-letter country code that indicates the language. For example, the English version of the documentation is in the cqtsadmin-en.pdf file.

The legal terms and use of the IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® Full-Text Search Administrator tool are located in the following directory:

CLEARQUEST_HOME\CQTsAdmin\License\

Important: Do not use this version of the Full-Text Search Administrator tool with ClearQuest V8.x, which installs its own version of the tool.

Fixes an issue during profile initiation where an error message occurs if the Windows service syntax is specified as uppercase or mixed case instead of lowercase (for example, "Automatic/Manual"). The error takes the form: "Error: *************** TERMINATING DUE TO AN ERROR****************    .... Command-line options '--init_cq_fts' and '--setup_cq_fts' other options.          Use '--help' for complete help syntax."
