PM01912 resolves the following problem:
ERROR DESCRIPTION:
The WebSphere® service required elevated privileges on Microsoft® Windows™ Vista or Windows™ 7.
LOCAL FIX:
Run as Administrator
PROBLEM SUMMARY
USERS AFFECTED:
Non-Administrator users of IBM® WebSphere® Application Server V7.0
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Unable to start and stop WebSphere® Application Server due to an exception about needing elevated privileges
RECOMMENDATION:
None
Elevated privileges were required because the service software in WebSphere® Application Service was compiled incorrectly.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
Compilation was modified.
