APL2 Translate Tables for ISPF

Downloadable files

Abstract

ISPF translate tables that support the APL2 diamond, epsilon underbar, match, and squad characters.

Download Description

ISPF, the Interactive System Productivity Facility, uses translate tables for supporting APL characters. ISPF’s default translate tables do not support all of the characters in the APL2 atomic vector. ISPF includes sample translate tables that support more of the APL2 characters, but do not support all the characters required to write modern APL2 programs. To solve this problem, these files include ISPF translate tables that support all the characters in the APL2 atomic vector.

Prerequisites

ISPF and a terminal emulator that supports APL characters

Installation Instructions

The APL2 Translate Tables for ISPF package contains three files:

The asm files contain assembler code and should be downloaded as plain text data.

Download APL2TT.pdf and follow the instructions it contains.
