PK83525 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:
A user of IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus turns on WS-AT in the Feature Pack for Web Services, then the transactions are never committed across multiple machines.

USERS AFFECTED:
All IBM WebSphere Application Server users of Web Services Atomic Transactions using JAX-WS.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Participants in a Web Service Atomic Transaction ( WS-AT ) distributed transaction may time out.

RECOMMENDATION:
None

When transactions are distributed via Web Services Atomic Transaction ( WS-AT ) between Application Servers using JAX-WS, the participant server transaction may time out. The format of the participant registration element that is sent on the header of the SOAP response message is incorrectly processed, leading to a failure of the coordinator server to complete the participant server.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
The Transaction Service has been corrected to handle the participant registration element correctly.
