IBM WebSphere Application Server V5.0 content, including product documentation, technotes, Fix Packs and Interim Fixes, is now a downloadable package.

All product documentation and solutions related to IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 5.0 have been collected so that users of this out-of-support product can continue using V5.0, as-is.
The V5.0 content includes two Information Center packages:
- Support documentation, packaged as an Eclipse documentation plug-in that easily installs into the IBM WebSphere Help System. Content includes Fix Packs and Interim Fixes, published APARs, technotes and Redbooks.
- Product documentation, the familiar V5.0 Information Center:

Notes:
- Packages must be downloaded and installed on your system
- Access to the Internet is required for Fix Pack and Interim Fix files that still reside on an FTP server, as well as links to other documents still available on the Web.
V5.0 Support notice
WebSphere Application Server V5.0 is now out of support. New APARs will NOT be opened. It is recommended that you upgrade to a supported version of WebSphere Application Server. Refer to the WebSphere Application Server Support site for the latest supported versions.
